UPDATE: COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS)

We understand the importance of our relationships and continued progress through these extraordinary times. We would like you to be aware of the steps Plastek is implementing to continue business as usual. We will have no business interruption as we have always had and will continue to have emergency plans for any potential business interruptions. We are monitoring daily all information from DHS, CDC and our local and state governments relating to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

We are grateful that all employees are avidly adopting the policies and procedures we have implemented to ensure they, our clients, and vendors remain safe and well. We continue with our normal working hours and as always, are happy to accommodate any and all projects.

Following the most recent updates on COVID – 19 (Corona Virus), we have implemented strict guidelines for added protection for all of our staff and visitors, which include the following:

• All employees are scanned via temporal scanner when arriving for their shift
• All employees are required to wear a protective mask while on the premises.
• All employees are required to maintain a distance of 6 feet from one another.
• When applicable, we will use telephone conferencing or video conferencing for all meetings.
• All employees and visitors must use hand sanitizers provided at the main door and throughout the premises.
• All visitors must complete a questionnaire before being permitted onto the premises. If any of the following questions is answered in the affirmative, admittance to our facility will be denied:
  • Visitation to foreign countries in the last 14 days
  • Have been in close contact with anyone living in foreign countries specifically China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Japan, Iran or Europe (This list is subject to change based on updates from DHS and/or the CDC).
  • Been in close contact with anyone suspected or confirmed of being infected with the Covid-19 (Corona virus)
  • Showing any signs of respiratory infection including fever, cough, shortness of breath and or breathing difficulties. (All visitors will be scanned for fever with a temporal scanner)

Staff Guidelines

• All employees are subject to the above guidelines before approval to work
• All employees must use hand sanitizers provided
• All employees must ensure they do not come to work if they show any signs of fever/flu or colds
• All employees will be given the opportunity to work from home when applicable
• Supervisors and managers must enforce these strict guidelines on employees and themselves
• Everyone must stay vigilant to prevent any spread of cold/flu/viruses
• General Hygiene must be adhered to, and there is always ample soap and water to ensure proper cleaning of hands
• All bathrooms and common areas will be sanitized daily.

Thank you all for your cooperation. We are confident that we will get over this by working together with our employees, customers and vendors. However, we must take this situation seriously and stay calm. We will be consistent with the guidelines we have issued. Please stay safe and follow all the recommendations provided by the CDC and DHS.

Our management team is monitoring all information relating to the Covid-19 (Corona Virus), and meeting daily to provide our employees, customers and vendors with the most updated information as it pertains to Plastek operations.
