PLASTEK CARDS ACQUIRES ALACARD ONE

Carson, CA — Plastek Cards has announced the acquisition of Nashville-based AlaCard One in a cash transaction. The purchase, which was finalized this month, includes all physical and proprietary assets of the company, including inventory, production equipment, and database of customers.

According to Plastek Cards President and CEO Jeff Fulmer, “the targeted acquisition will offer further expansion into markets that Plastek Cards currently serves, while providing more competitive pricing and additional print options to AlaCard One customers.”

AlaCard One’s sales staff will remain intact, according to Plastek Cards, as will the company’s website during the transition period, with eventual plans to unify the companies under the Plastek Cards brand.

Established in 2000, AlaCard One offers quick-turn and custom cards to business customers nationwide, with a focus on the health and beauty and hospitality markets.
